What is webhosting and a webhost?
Webhosting is a service that provides a space for storing information, images and other content that is accessible though a website. A webhost or hosting-provider is a company that offers such a service.
What is a domain-name or DNS?
A domain-name or “Domain Name Service” is the most recognized system for assigning addresses to Internet web servers (see webhosting). The domain name system helps to give every Internet server a memorable and easy-to-spell address. Some examples are www.tothepointdesign.eu or www.google.com.
A domain-name must be internationally registered to be used. Usually this is done by the hosting-provider.
Do you offer webhosting or a domain registration service?
We don’t provide webhosting or domain registration ourselves but our webhosting partners can take care of that. Of course we will arrange the contact and make sure you get what you need for your website.
What is an URL?
Short for Uniform Resource Locator but more commonly known as the web address. See domain-name / DNS above.
What is a browser / web browser?
A web browser is the program that is allowing you to view web pages. Some of the most commonly know ones are Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer. As the web programming languages develop, the web browsers must keep up. It is very important to keep your web browser up to date to eliminate potential security risks as well as gaining access to the newer versions of the languages.
What is a Content Management System or CMS?
A CMS is an application that allows a user to change the content of the web page without the need for complicated code or the need to update the files manually on the server. Typical examples whould be a web shop, a blog, or a news section of a web page. The CMS is running from the server - but allows the user access to change the content via for example a web browser. Regular web pages are static and cannot be changed. with a CMS, you can change the content on the fly.
Do you come to us for meetings? Do we have to come to you?
Both are posible. However, because we are active in all of Germany and the Netherlands it saves a lot of time to use Skype for a video conference or email for quick questions.
Do you follow the W3C guidelines?
Yes, the websites we develop follow the guidelines and are tested on may different browsers, operating systems and screensizes. You can visit www.w3.org for more information about theW3C guidelines.

Do you send invoices per mail, fax or email?
We prefer to use emails because it's faster and saves costs, what is reflected in our prices. Of couse we can send offers and invoices by mail as well if you prefer that.
Are you registered with the Chamber of Commerce / The Tax Administration?
Yes, we are registred in the Netherlands. Our registration number from the Chamber of Commerce Utrecht is “58636099” and our tax number is NL0038715104.
Do you also design logos, prints or provide other advertisement services?
We do not have an in office advertising/ marketing section. But you can turn to our partners section to find our recommendations for professional solutions to your advertising needs
